Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Intermodal Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the intermodal transportation industry. They will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and maximizing revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the intermodal transportation sector.
    • and implement sales strategies to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of client issues.

  • Sales Performance:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by management.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our intermodal transportation solutions.
    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with company policies and profitability targets.

  • Pipeline Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
    • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular progress reports to management.
    • Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles to sales success, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Industry Networking:
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and industry stakeholders.
    • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends that may impact the intermodal transportation market.

Qualifications:

  • Required 5+ years' experience with 53', 40' and 20' intermodal (must be recent).
  • Familiar selling DRP business
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience in the intermodal transportation industry highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Location:
