Griffis Residential, a premier property management company, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our community grounds and common areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking immediate action to pick up litter, including pet waste and cigarette butts, from exterior and common areas
- Performing light landscaping duties such as sprinkler adjustment, tree and shrub trimming, sod replacement, and plant care
- Keeping dumpster areas clean and free of pests, and monitoring for potential fire hazards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of parking lots, curbs, and walkways
- Assisting with pool and spa maintenance, including chemical balancing and record-keeping
- Clearing snow and ice from designated areas and applying ice melt as needed
- Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting ways to enhance maintenance efficiency
- Participating in resident loyalty programs and upholding our high customer service standards
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or a similar industry
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred (required within the first 6 months of employment)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
