The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for processing a high volume of subcontract billings while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will conduct thorough audits of billing entries, review and verify Certificates of Insurance, and facilitate the timely payment of subcontractors. Your work will be essential in maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and awarding bodies through effective communication and adherence to contract requirements.

DUTIES & SCOPE:

  • Efficiently audit and enter a substantial number of subcontract billings weekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Address discrepancies, incomplete information, clarifications, and compliance in documentation
  • Create weekly check selections
  • Review Certificates of Insurance, confirming compliance with contract requirements and ensuring that all documentation is current and valid
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all labor compliance requirements are met
  • Proactively request and manage monthly releases for all subcontractors across multiple projects, ensuring timely payments from general contractors and awarding bodies.
  • Monitor and track preliminary notices to ensure timely submission and compliance.
  • Maintain organized records of all billings, compliance documentation, and communications related to subcontractors and project requirements.
  • Review and analyze subcontract terms and agreements for billing implications.
  • Request bonds and riders as required and maintain all related documentation.
  • Utilize platforms such as Textura and GC Pay to facilitate billing processes, maintain records, and streamline payment workflows.
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and finance teams to address billing inquiries, discrepancies, and compliance issues promptly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of High School diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role within the construction industry required with a demonstrated ability to manage high volume billing.
  • Proficiency in auditing billing entries and a strong understanding of subcontract terms and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with Textura and GC Pay is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Provide outstanding customer service internally to our fellow employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Knowledge in CMiC Software helpful, but not necessary.

The starting hourly base pay for this role is between USD $31.00 and $35.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
