Responsibilities*
Under physician supervision, directs and coordinates care as a primary service for hospitalized patients with advanced heart failure, pre and post-heart transplant, and medical management of left ventricular assist devices (LVAD). Management of this patient population includes cardiology and internal medicine. The NP/PA will:

Desired Qualifications*
Work Schedule
Hours: 40 hours
Shift/Hours/Days: 24/7 coverage, night/day rotator, team is willing to consider straight night applicants pending the applicant's level of APP experience
12-hour shifts: 1.0 FTE = 14 shifts per month
Department: Heart Failure Transplant
Location: University Hospital & Cardiovascular Center
Shift Differential: Evening shift, Night shift, and Weekend shifts

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Physician Assistants of Michigan Medicine, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
