Air Export Operation Agent (Mon - Fri 12pm - 9pm)
Classification: Non-Exempt, Temp
Location: San Diego, CA (onsite)
Working Hours: 12:00 pm- 9:00 pm, M-F

Overview:
A global leading Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as an Air Export Operations Specialist. This position involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, documentation, and communication with clients and carriers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical and data entry skills to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes.
Competitive hourly wage of $19/hour and more based on experience and qualifications. Temporary position with potential for extension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not are Limited to:
* Accurately input shipment data into the transportation management system (TMS) and other relevant software.
* Prepare and process a range of export documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and air waybills.
* Effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams via email and phone to provide updates and resolve issues.
* Maintain organized physical and digital files, and assist with invoicing and billing processes.
* Perform other duties assigned by Management.


Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is preferred, but not required

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
