- Minimum three (3) years of experience or demonstrated Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience supporting programs and projects through the various acquisition milestones and testing phases (designing, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting)
- Minimum three (3) years of experience or demonstrated Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience preparing, maintaining, updating and reviewing the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirements compliance, conformity with mandatory guidance
- Direct experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Experience with maintaining and debugging networking test equipment including switches, routers, and traffic generators
- Experience performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results for C4ISR systems
- Experience with open architecture constructs like Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems (OMS), Open Communication Standard (OCS); utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
- Experience with LPD (Low Probability of Detection) and LPI (Low Probability of Intercept) waveforms and anti-jam waveforms
- Supports the Government Tactical Air (TACAIR) Reference Implementation Laboratory (RIL) at NIWC Pacific, in San Diego, CA
- Supports the development and execution of test plans, test objectives, test measures, and evaluation criteria Develop T&E strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, requirement verification and test plans, test objectives, test methodology, and evaluation criteria
- Coordinates with responsible test organizations to ensure that required test objectives are included and to resolve emergent issues with test preparation
- Reviews program T&E results and associated analysis for rigor, proper application of analytical techniques, legitimacy of conclusions, and thoroughness of reporting
- Reviews emerging technologies in designing and testing RF communications and networks for airborne applications, including software defined radios and networks, omnidirectional and directional antenna technologies, and secure data transport technologies
