This position is full-time (80 hours per pay period), working 8-hour varied day shift with call requirements and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in the Hillcrest community.

The Cardiac department offers and performs different procedures from EP, Cath Lab and structural heart procedures. We have a great culture, celebrate special events, achievements and everyone is made to feel like family .

* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

* Must remain in original department/specialty

* Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association
  • Current RCIS and /or RCES certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (or Military program equivalent)
  • 3 years of experience in an EP Lab and/ or Interventional Cath lab
  • Scrub advanced specialty procedures in an EP or Interventional Cath Lab
  • The ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current ACLS from American Heart Association
