Job Description

Responsible for occupational therapy patient service delivery, including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex patients, complete required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development and represents the department to the medical and general community. The position will be primarily be acute care with the opportunity for potential Outpatient with growth.
Depending on the experience and verified license of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the Occupational Therapist I or II or III level.
Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Occupational Therapist (OT) - issued by the state of California.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Less than 2 years experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting (OT1), more than 2 years experience (OT2).
- Al least one (1)years of relevant experience.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- May flex and float between sites as needed.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $106,885 - $141,065 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $51.19 - $67.56
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
