Position Overview
The Department of Health Sciences and Nursing at Rider University seeks adjunct faculty to teach in the Graduate Nursing programs at Rider University. We are recruiting for openings for the Spring 2025 semester.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- MSN degree and a terminal, professional degree completed or in progress
- NP national certification in one of the following specialties - AGPCNP, FNP, PMHNP
- Three (3) years of nurse practitioner experience
- One (1) year of demonstrated teaching experience
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN and APN in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
- Current practice in the NP role
- Prospective candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations and demonstrated expertise in their field of study.
- The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the use of student focused pedagogy in order to engage students in the learning process.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated online teaching experience
- Graduate nursing teaching experience
