Job Description:
The P/T Jr. Office Assistant (Typist) will provide general office support and customer service for the Community Education Department within the Division of Workforce Development and Community Education. Responsibilities include answering phones; receiving visitors; processing registrations and payments, general support for CE students and faculty, sending outgoing messages to students and instructors such as class schedules; and assisting with marketing efforts.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a high school or equivalency diploma is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Microsoft Office is strongly preferred.
Additional Information:
WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays a plus.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $16.25 per hour. No benefits.
