Description:

The ideal candidate for the Business/HR position will be an organized and efficient professional, who enjoys interacting with students, parents and staff in a kind, supportive school environment. Candidates must be able to work independently and be able to multitask. Preferably, this person has previous experience in a non-profit organization or an environment serving children. Proficiency in multiple technology platforms is desired. Though the school operates on a school year calendar, the Business/HR Manager works 12 months/year. This is a hybrid onsite/work-from-home position that starts August 15, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a climate of trust and positive regard for students, parents, staff and community partners
  • Support the Head of School, Executive Director, Board Treasurer and Board of Directors in the daily operation of a small, private school, that is also a non-profit organization
  • Manage all accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage bi-monthly employee payroll and 403b allocations
  • Create monthly financial reports for Board Treasurer and auditors
  • Maintain all employee HR files
  • Work in conjunction with Head of School with respect to onboarding new staff and supporting staff who are separating from the program
  • Maintain HR practices according to State and Federal regulations
  • Collaborate with HR consultant regarding maintenance of Employee Handbook and other employment policies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
