Installation Analyst

Job Description

 

Effecture is seeking three skilled Installation Analysts to provide comprehensive analytical support for hardware and software installations on various platforms, including ships. The role will encompass the following responsibilities: preparing policies, processes, standards, and training documentation for afloat, shore, and submarine installations; specifying installation process execution requirements and software specifications to support tool development; and applying regulations and policies affecting the installation of Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR systems, such as Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manuals. This position is contingent upon the award of a contract. 
 

Duties:

Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Support:

  • Assess and advise on the development, review, and publication of Naval Operational Architecture (NOA) architectures, standards, competency development models, training program documentation, and manpower analysis. This includes analysis, metrics, and projections to ensure consistency among related work products throughout the RDT&E life cycle.

Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support:

  • Maintain strategic plans, communication plans, competency development models, training programs, and manage initiatives directly supporting the NOA Leadership team. This includes performing analysis, conducting surveys, and compiling statistics and information necessary for reports, briefings, correspondence, messages, and memoranda to align with the NOA End State Framework.
  • Prepare and deliver the Contractor’s Monthly Status Report, detailing cost, schedule, performance, personnel, travel, and other direct cost status.

Acquisition Workforce Exclusive Advanced Training (AWDF) Support:

  • Provide advanced training for the acquisition workforce, including elements of Human Performance, Manpower, Personnel, and Training.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree; however, a technical degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience supporting the installation of various hardware and software products in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment; Navy experience is highly preferred.
  • Clearance: A Secret clearance is required for this role.
