Clarvida is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as a Full-Time Program Manager.
San Diego First Responder's Behavioral Health Program is a peer supported First Responder helpline and educational services to increase access to mental health and substance disorder services for first responders in San Diego County, and reduce the stigma and barriers associated with accessing such services.
PAY: $78,000-$81,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meets weekly with program staff and participates in reviewing files to ensure documentation meets program standards.
  • Manages daily operations of program including reviewing file documentation, purchasing of program and office supplies, scheduling and maintaining software upgrades, and coordinates payroll/time sheets with corporate office.
  • Trains and/or assists in training of staff for the program's specialized curriculum.
  • Oversees or may assist with additional areas of responsibility as request by Regional Director or Supervisor.
  • Responsible for recruitment, professional development, assignments of duties, approval of leave requests and expenses, performance management and serving as resource for consultation and advice for staff.
  • May participate in special events such as "open house", holiday events, and site visits from contractor.
  • May represent program at external functions.
  • Works with collaborative to maintain appropriate relationships within the program structure.
  • Ensures that staff adheres to appropriate policies and procedures as appropriate to the program.
  • Transport clients to accommodate community relationships. Use of personal care or vehicle is required.
  • May handle as assigned of On-Call Phone/After Hours duties.
  • Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients.
  • Other duties assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
  • Supervises the other employees.
EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
  • Pre-licensed Associate (ASW) with lived First Responder experience or a First Responder family member preferred
  • Master of Social Work degree or Masters in Marriage in Family Therapy
  • Will accept Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with 2+ years of Case management experience and who also has lived experience.
  • Proof of: valid California driver's license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required
  • 1-2 years' experience working with behavior health
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with mental health setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to meet the needs to the Program.
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills and communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
