Communications Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Support a fast-paced team and work with senior executives and a large stakeholder network. Leverage your skills and experience to provide a range of communications support, from strategic communications planning to tactical execution and provision of steady-state communications. Plan for workforce engagements, town halls, and events, develop marketing campaigns for those events and leading client communications initiatives, including large-scale outreach campaigns to engage the workforce and drive acceptance of client policies. Create a variety of communications materials and products, such as executive communications, talking points, marketing copy, newsletter content, human-interest stories about the workforce, and web site content. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+years of experience with leading and developing comprehensive integrated communications and engagement strategies
  • Experience working with senior executives, socializing strategies, and gaining buy-in
  • Experience with driving communications across multi-disciplinary project teams, including project management, change management, and process improvement
  • Experience with creating, overseeing, and executing communication plans for key corporate communications initiatives, including on mergers and acquisitions
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, or Marketing

  • Ability to deliver management consulting services to a Fortune 500 company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clarity, transparency, and speed
  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, or Marketing

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
