Senior Sustainability Analyst

The purpose of the Senior Sustainability Analyst is to develop and implement sustainability programs in accordance with business unit and corporate goals and objectives. Under general supervision, the position will be responsible for working with corporations or individual customers / clients to reduce negative impacts on the environment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and assess viability of strategies meant to support conservation, increase usage of renewable resources, improve efficiency, or reduce energy costs or wasteful output. Track initiatives to company roadmap and report on action plan to milestone achievement.
  • Analyze compliance regulations and ensure products and their associated processes and procedures comply.
  • Partner with Daikin Applied Americas environmental, production, and operations teams to report on Greenheart Factory initiatives and its overall impact on custom air handler equipment.
  • Participate in compliance and inspection activities; report on findings and make recommendations.
  • Support corporate leadership to align cross-functional knowledge and collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and business processes, driving accountability and ownership throughout functions.
  • Conduct assessments to identify environmental footprint and areas of environmental impact within manufacturing processes, including energy consumption, water usage, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Collect and analyze data on sustainability metrics, track progress toward goals, and prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Respond to requests for data and information from critical customers, either in writing, presentation, or system input.
  • Effectively communicate with business leaders, other department managers, and employees on a regular basis to discuss sustainability strategies and programs.
  • Stay abreast of environmental regulations and standards relevant to manufacturing operations in order to communicate critical issues to leadership, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in sustainability.
  • Support sales and marketing to deliver a concise value proposition to the market and provide support and feedback in commercial inquiries and needs.

Compensation:

  • The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $95,000. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will Bring:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree or combination work experience
    • 4+ years of Sustainability and Environmental reporting, consulting, or data analytics experience
    • Ability to travel 15-25%
  • Preferred:
    • Spanish/English bilingual
    • Ability to travel to Mexico
    • Know of Greenheart Factory Certification
