Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of study abroad student enrollment services, including registration, billing, course scheduling, and grade reporting. This position works closely with the Office of Student Financial Services and Cashiering and the Registrar’s Office, maintaining collegial and fluid lines of communication. The position primarily supports Education Abroad (EA) advisors and program managers through accurate and timely enrollment and billing, central to EA’s operations. The Coordinator must understand, communicate and ensure adherence to all academic policies and regulations, specifically those governed by the Registrar’s office and the Office of Student Financial Services and Cashiering. The incumbent provides excellent customer service to stakeholders including students and staff/faculty across campus through clear communication, comprehensive timelines, and swift attention to any potential issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Experience
:
  • 2 years of administrative experience
  • Experience building and maintaining key relationships with internal partners

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Preferences:

Preferences:
  • Previous experience working in university administration.
  • Previous experience working with a student information system.
  • Familiarity with applicable federal and state laws and policies relating to student data and records management.
  • Demonstrated system-level thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology to gather, interpret, analyze, and present data.
  • Ability to acknowledge errors in a timely and professional manner.

Additional Information:

Salary range is high $50k’s to low $60k’s.
