About the Role:
Performs statistical analysis on data supporting the SAS statistical programming efforts for clinical and non-clinical projects and studies, including developing, testing, maintaining, validating, and documenting SAS programs to evaluate clinical data and meet the project's needs._
Your Contribution (include, but are not limited to):Uses SAS programming to generate analysis data sets, tables, figures, and listings to support the analysis of clinical trials data
Uses SAS programming to generate SDTM domains, ADaM datasets, and Define.xml files
Assists in creation of table mock-ups under supervision of statisticians
Reviews output across programs to ensure consistency. Recognizes inconsistencies and initiates resolution of data problems
Performs programming using techniques such as macro language, advanced data manipulation, and statistical procedures
Implements data management plans designed to meet project and protocol deadline
Provides expertise in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols and case report forms
Acts as a liaison between clinical management, subcommittees and project teams as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
BS/BA degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or in a related field and 2+ years of Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical/CRO industry experience as a clinical trial SAS Programmer programming CDISC data structures OR
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or in a related field and Some experience noted above
Understands Neurocrine's business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers
Has experience in specific functional discipline while working to acquire higher-level knowledge and skills
Comfortable with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong computer skills
Good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Good project management skills
Knowledge of Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical/CRO industry, specifically clinical trial SAS programming, CDISC data structures
Strong knowledge of statistical programming tool SAS
Demonstrates knowledge of industry standards, such as the ICH guidelines, CDISC data structures, 21 CFR Part 11, and FDA guidelines
Demonstrated organizational skills, time management, and ability to coordinate workload and meet established deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment under the direction of a lead programmer and statistician
Technical knowledge of SDTM, ADaM, and Define.XML

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $86,200.00-$125,050.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
