Here's an opportunity to lead a dynamic Human Resources Department in one of Cleveland's premier non-profit organizations. Dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility, the Greater Cleveland YMCA has an immediate opening for a Sr. Vice President/Chief Human Resource Officer.
The Chief Human Resource Officer serves as a member of the President/CEO’s strategic leadership team, driving the alignment of human resource best practices with the strategic plan and operational strategies. Works with committees of the Board; administers the development and implementation of talent management; creates and drives systems, policies and practices that support a culture of developing cause-driven leaders. The CHRO protects the Y by providing consistency in decision making that reflects our core values by enhancing employee knowledge and competencies.
The Chief Human Resource Officer will develop and establish talent management/human resources policies, plans and services including recruitment, selection, legal compliance, employee benefits, salary and wage administration plan, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and events.
This position is responsible for complying with federal and state regulations as it relates to Human Resources and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland’s policies and procedures.
