Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Directly affiliated with the Counseling Service division of the Counseling Center, the staff psychologist will be responsible for providing services to racially and culturally diverse students and the University community by offering individual and group psychotherapy/counseling, diagnostic assessment, psychological and career testing, consultation, outreach, and crisis intervention. The generalist psychologist is skilled in fostering the mental health, academic progress and career development of University students through a variety of psychotherapeutic and psycho-educational interventions. Clinical supervision and training of interns, externs, practicum students, and other trainees are expected of the psychologist in this position.

Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program. Successful completion of an APA accredited internship.

Preferences:
- Licensed as a psychologist for more than two years.
- Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
