Clinical Track Accounting Faculty
Job Description
The University of Rochester's Simon Business School is seeking candidates for a clinical faculty member (non-tenure track) in accounting effective July 1, 2024. Rank (assistant, associate, or professor) depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

If students have met certain undergraduate prerequisites, this program has been designated by the New York State Education Department as fulfilling the 150 credit-hour requirement for professional education programs in public accountancy.

Responsibilities
- Teaching courses in accounting and related areas.
- Contributing to the strategic mission of the school in various ways (e.g., serving as the undergraduate accounting track advisor)
- Potential to be appointed as Faculty Director of the MSA program (with additional compensation or reduction in teaching responsibilities).
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related area from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- New York State CPA
- Interest and ability in teaching M.B.A., M.S., and Undergraduate courses in accounting and related areas of the Simon School curriculum.
- Teaching experience is desired

In compliance with the NY Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/ will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
