Job Summary
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Soundability Lab at the Human-Centered Computing Laboratory, Computer Science and Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Under the supervision of Dr. Dhruv Jain, the postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to work on HCI and accessibility research topics.

Responsibilities*
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be expected to perform basic and applied research, organize and publish the results obtained, provide technical guidance on projects for both graduate and undergraduate students, and assist in writing new research proposals.

While our group focuses on auditory intelligence, we are seeking postdoctoral candidates primarily in the HCI / accessibility area who have at least a basic working knowledge of AI and machine learning.
Required Qualifications*
The candidate will have received (or anticipate receiving by the date of hire) a doctoral degree in computer science or related fields, with demonstrated interest in HCI and accessibility.
Additional Information
Duration: The initial appointment is for one year, and the renewal of the appointment in following years is contingent upon excellent performance, the availability of funds, and an appropriate work authorization status.
