Job Summary
The President will lead the family office that strives to provide best-in-class services for its family client base. He/She will set the overall direction for the Company and family office and is ultimately responsible for comprehensive financial, estate and tax planning, compliance, investment oversight, as well as, client service activities. Leads collaborative efforts to plan, develop and implement strategies that deliver outstanding products and services in support of family enterprises. Collaborates closely with business line leaders to ensure The Family Office is connected to the larger Wealth and Company strategy,
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall success of The Family Office including growth performance and profitability, while building strong relationships and improving the efficient administration of clients' accounts.
- Collaborates with Chief Investment Officer on aspects of investment offerings, including potentially serving on investment committee and alternative investment committee, strategizing on product offerings and overseeing efficient delivery of product offerings.
- Partners on aspects of service offerings, including managing workload of group and interpreting specific legal issues regarding client structures or Trust Company issues.
- Works closely with fidcuaicy and complaince groups on client-related compliance issues. May serve on the Trust Company Compliance Committee.
- Engages in relationship management and prospecting. Building and maintaining strong relationship with clients, peers and other COIs.
- Engages in talent management focusing on recruiting, developing and retaining high performing team to support The Family Office goals.
- Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field;
Minimum Experience:
Twelve years of direct industry experience in the area of investments, estate planning, family business, and/or family office
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Deep financial knowledge
- Strong understanding of investments, finance and risk management
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of family office management best practices in investment strategies, financial products, relationship management and client services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to conduct presentations and discuss technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all legal and regulatory requirements
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and senior management
- Strong business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Ability to represent the financial institution professionally to outside and/or customer contacts
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- MBA or related Master's degree
- CFA, CFP, CTFA designations (one or more)
