The Admissions Advisor for the Office of Admissions and Records is responsible for processing applications and other documentation for admission to the College and assisting prospective students through this process. This is a 12-month staff position reporting to the District Director of Admissions and Records/Registrar.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree required
- Demonstrated success working with a team Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, and staff with admissions, transcript, and graduation processes.
- Assist students with completing applications and submitting required documents.
- Review applications and other documents for admissions and process in the system.
- Communicate with applicants about the status of their application.
- Scan transcripts and other documents into the imaging system for use by specified faculty and staff.
- Assist in the registration process each semester and mini-term.
- Assist in the verification of information for National Student Clearinghouse (Enrollment and Graduation).
- Process requests for transcripts, verification of enrollment, and academic records for current and former students.
- Process and articulate high school and college transcripts.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure student’s needs are met.
- Assist in the review for audit.
- Assist in the graduation process and ceremony.
