As the Associate, Pet Services Operations at Petco, you would be responsible for assisting in operations support for Petco's Pet Services, manage projects, develop and support reporting and targets preparation, project management, as well as regular and ad hoc analyses for the Petco organization.

This role will work closely with key members of several teams on various facets of the company to devise strategic solutions to unique business problems. The Associate, Pet Services Operations will assist in financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation to keep the business on track to meet its financial goals. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, technically capable, holds a desire to solve problems and efficiently delivers a quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position will report to the Manager, Pet Services Projects & Reporting

Responsibilities:

* Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the Pet Services businesses.

* Accountable for PetPass Hospital system administration, including managing relationship with cross functional teams of key inputs, including practice management administration, inventory and SKU management, pricing, etc.

* Manage and support cross-functional partners to stay within monthly operating budget, including the monthly accruals, invoicing reviews, approvals, and forecasting of Pet Services operational expenses.

* Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

* Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed to help optimize business results.

* Monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to internal controls, systems and processes for service teams, both manual and software related.

* Provide exceptional, timely customer service for partners requiring operational support.

* Help identify and implement opportunities to improve systems in ways that will provide visibility and transparency to business leaders to track against business targets.

Required Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience

* Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience in an operational business role

Required Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills).

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain and keep track of multiple projects.

* Strong communication skills, including ability to work cross functionally and with senior leadership.

* Self-starter and ability to manage and drive projects to completion.

* Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.

* Passion to continuously provide exceptional customer service to all internal business partners.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

* Passion for innovation and using technology to drive efficiency.

* Track record of success to drive process improvements.

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
