About the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Role:

Reporting to the Company's Chief People Officer, this role provides exceptional on-the-ground support and partnership within the Herself Health Minnesota market, including five (5) clinics and up to 150 employees, and growing. While this role is based in-market, this role will also provide support to remote teammates as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Strong working knowledge and experience throughout the employee lifecycle, inclusive of:
  • New hire pre-boarding processes
  • Facilitation of employee orientation
  • Partnership with hiring managers and the Learning & Development Manager to create a meaningful team/department onboarding experience
  • Employee exits and effective off-boarding, inclusive of closing the feedback loop with People Leaders
  • Lead the annual compensation and benefits review processes, inclusive of proposing market-informed changes to our current practices
  • Fulfill all external compensation survey participation requirements, annually
  • Own critical processes such as onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, unemployment claims, and job information changes
  • In coordination with the Learning & Development Manager, support the administration of periodic employee engagement surveys and the annual performance review process in CultureAmp.
  • Partner with People Leaders on employee relations and performance management inquiries and escalate appropriately to the Chief People Officer or Legal Counsel with highly sensitive cases
  • Create & maintain dashboards for key People metrics related to headcount, hiring, EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), retention and attrition that help to inform meaningful business decisions
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for a wide range of questions covering topics like benefits, compensation, and People Team systems
  • Collaborate with our PEO on all local, federal and state regulations and reporting to ensure Herself Health is meeting all legal requirements Handle ad-hoc data requests from the People Team and Executive Team as needed

 

Must-have Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of HRBP/ People Operations experience
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field preferred; can be supplemented by relevant work experience
  • Travel Requirement: a combination of in-clinic time (60%) and work from home (40%)
  • Must be located within the Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area and willing to travel to all 5 MN clinic locations (Highland Park, Crystal, Lyndale, Rosedale, Eagan)
  • Proven experience successfully handling employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to People Operations
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Highly skilled communicator, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while mitigating risk related to legal aspects of management
  • Comfort working in a start-up with rapid growth and a high pace of change
  • Track record of high accountability, with a bias for action
  • The ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly and efficiently, through both formal training and self-led learning
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with others quickly and effectively
  • Analyzing and utilizing data in your approach to problem-solving and using insights to improve desired outcomes
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
