Dr. Sadis Matalon is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to conduct innovative, research in the mechanisms of oxidative injury to mitochondria and its implications in the pathogenesis of acute and chronic lung injury.  Applicants must have solid background in free radical biochemistry and mechanisms of lung injury and repair. Those with experience in ion transport studies, including patch clamp techniques, will be given high priority.  The successful applicant will be encouraged to write and submit foundation and NIH grants.
