SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This full-time, exempt Club Events Planner is a part of the F&B management team and will be responsible for developing club-sponsored events. This includes conceptualizing member events and member programing and creating the marketing material for the events. This collaborator performs at an elevated level in a team environment and will work to ensure all events are produced magnificently. The goal is to provide service excellence to all who visit our club.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two or more years of upscale private club experience.
- Ability to carry out high level detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide a personalized level of membership engagement.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Creative décor, entertainment, menus and event themes.
- Is comfortable working in an upscale club environment and can be professionally dressed for a variety of events from black tie galas to “Boots and Jeans” and everything in between.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for planning and delivering all internal club sponsored events for members and their guests, employee events. Note: we have F&B managers that oversee the events F&B service.
- Provides marketing material as directed. MS office applications, Canva and Adobe software experience highly desired.
- Collaborates with department managers to plan, coordinate, and oversee events in their areas.
- Adhere to the company’s mission, brand, and core values.
- Consistently interacts with members and staff in a professional manner.
- Works with department leaders and HR to achieve the desired results in a timely fashion, to ensure deadlines are met.
- Represents Big Easy Ranch in a professional manner.
- Assists with creating our annual club calendar.
- Research new event concepts and collaborate with management.
- Works a variety of hours, including days, nights, select holidays and weekend hours.
- Promotes usage and activities in all areas of the Big Easy Ranch.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
- Able to walk and stand on your feet for extended periods.
- Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
- May work in outside weather conditions.
