The City of Benwood is hiring a full time police officer.

Candidates must:

-Have a Highschool Diploma or GED

-Be at least 18 years of age.

-Past physical agility test.

-Pass an extensive background check. (including credit check)

Successful Candidates will be required to attend the West Virginia State Police Academy.

This is a 16 week, paramilitary training program.

(You will be required to stay at the academy during the 15 weeks.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,340.00 per year
