Ho’ola Na Pua (New Life For Our Children) is a Hawaii-based non-profit founded to shine light on the dark criminal enterprise of child sex trafficking, placing the health and healing of Hawaii’s youth at the center of our mission and vision for our community. We are committed to the treatment and prevention of sex trafficking while providing care for children who have been exploited.

We are seeking to partner with an elite Chief Executive Officer who has an intense desire and passion to guide and build an organization that is at the forefront of childhood trauma and sexual exploitation.

In this role you will…

  • Lead an agency that delivers and operates evidence-based, high-quality, community based and residential treatment services to youth from Hawaii and the mainland.

POSITION PROFILE

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO functions as the Visionary and Integrator, responsible for all personnel, fundraising, programs, expansion, and mission of HNP. The CEO will maintain deep and functional knowledge of core programs, core operations, and development efforts. The CEO will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors in leading the transformation of HNP from its current stage to a fully developed organization capable of delivering on its long-term vision as articulated in the V/TO. Specifically, the CEO will ensure that HNP finances, operations, fundraising, marketing, human resource, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all divisions of the organization. Finally, a primary expectation is to ensure HNP is filled with 80% “A players” or “A potential” employees and works with directors to redeploy or move on from low B or C players. To accomplish this the CEO will integrate Topgrading best practices in 1) Hiring (talent access, talent selection), 2) Promotion (_talent development and retention), and 3) Performance Management_ (EOS).

Ø 5+ years executive management, with proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience.

Ø Bachelor’s degree in health services field, or related field.

Ø Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams; set and achieve strategic objectives; manage budgets/P/L.

Ø Past success working with a board of directors with the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships.

Ø Strong marketing, public relations, business development, and fundraising acumen with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.

Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary skills.

Ø Action-orientation, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to organizational planning.

Scorecard/Key Outcomes To Be Accomplished In First 12-24 Months

Ø Learn and maintain HNP culture, norms, and established systems and frameworks.

Ø Successfully complete 90-day onboarding plan as defined and managed by BOD.

Ø Ensure all program deliverables for Starfish, Hoku, Education & Training are achieved.

Ø Drive Strategic Plan (V/TO) with the Board of Directors on long-term vision of Pearl Haven management.

Ø Ensure 90% completion of employee and program Rocks.

Ø Implement Topgrading within first 12 months.

Ø Achieve annual Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 80 by Q1 ’25.

Ø Achieve employee retention rate of 80% by Q2 ’25.

Ø Open de novo IOP/PHP program on Oahu.

Ø Drive Strategic Plan with the Board of Directors on long-term vision of Pearl Haven management.

General Expectations

Ø Cultivates a strong and transparent working relationship with the Board and ensure open communication about the measurement of financial, programmatic, and impact performance against stated milestones and goals.

Ø Expands local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and national expansion while simultaneously retiring Pearl Haven debt.

Ø Maintains an external local and national presence that publishes and communicates program results, with an emphasis on the successes of the local program as a model for regional and national replication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
