Job Description
Role PurposeThe President is responsible for carrying out the strategic plans for the business unit through overseeing operations, developing, and evaluating commercial relationships, and employee engagement and execution of business goals and objectives.Specific Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Lead the business unit in aligning with and demonstrating the company’s core values to drive growth and success.
- Provide leadership and direction in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and systems to support company objectives, both internally and externally.
- Actively contribute to organizational direction.
Accountability and Performance Improvement
- Responsible for performance in all levels of the production of hatching eggs and chicks. (A detailed knowledge of live poultry production is required).
- Collaborate with the CEO to set the organization's strategic direction and ensure alignment of business units to meet established goals.
- Exercise fiscal responsibility for investments and risk management, including the execution of approved capital planning, expansion initiatives, and M&A evaluations.
- Hold the business unit accountable for financial performance against objectives and budgets, while also directing operational activities to achieve financial goals.
- Provide strategic leadership for the business unit.
Transparent Reporting
- Ensure unwavering integrity and compliance with financial responsibilities and corporate citizenship, adhering to regional and U.S. regulations where applicable.
- Deliver timely and accurate information to the Group Board to facilitate effective execution of organizational objectives.
Cultivate a Collaborative Culture
- Create a culture of teamwork, accountability, trust, respect, and excellence, promoting a cohesive and motivated team.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to enhance the business.
- Direct the professional development, motivation, and performance evaluation of staff, while also managing the organizational structure to align with business objectives.
Client Relationship
- Establish strong senior-level relationships with key clients and formulate a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to nurture and expand client relationships.
- Innovate and develop value-added products and resources to enrich the client portfolio and enhance market competitiveness.
Policy and Systems Leadership
- Provide leadership and direction in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and systems to support company objectives, both internally and externally.
- Partner with Global Functional Experts to drive process efficiencies and optimization across the organization.
Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with industry associations, government officials, and stakeholders aligned with the company's best interests.

Specific Experience:
Required:
- Detailed understanding of poultry industry, and experience leading and expanding revenue generation.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in senior business leadership with small to mid-size companies
- Ability to analyze financial data and translate data into appropriate business decision making tools.
- Demonstrated leadership with aggressive business growth.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality work and adhere to tight timelines.
- Senior Leadership experience in live poultry production and hatchery and sales.
