Job Description:
Provides administrative support to the TRIO Student Support Services Grant program. Manage the office by composing correspondence and reports, maintaining records, managing payments, coordinating schedules. Acts as office liaison with students, faculty, staff and DOE. Maintains clear communication with other stakeholder offices on campus as it relates to the program.
Job Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Two years of office experience and with strong keyboarding, word processing, office management and database skills
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures, including the timely processing of payments
- Strong communication and organizational skills, attentiveness to detail and demonstrated clerical experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including proven ability to interact in a confidential and effective manner.
- Strong ability to solve problems, prioritize and multitask office projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population and contribute to a culture of respect, honor, inclusion and belonging for all staff, students, and visitors
Additional Information:
Salary: $25.00 per hour (hours vary, academic year) non-benefited, and grant funded.
